Active work with quality and environment
Beijer Electronics actively pursues quality and environmental issues. The parent company's quality and environment management systems are certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
Quality initiatives are one means of developing and rationalizing business. We monitor our performance in factors such as delivery reliability, product quality and customer satisfaction through sampling and surveys. Suggestions for improvement on products and working methods from staff and customers also provide an important impetus for driving quality efforts forward.
First and foremost, environmental initiatives are focused on the environmental impact of products. Good knowledge of the environmental impact of various substances is a prerequisite for finding new alternatives. Supplier collaborations are another driver for our environmental efforts. All our products complies to the EU Directive 2011/65/EU, in as much as these products contain lead, mercury, hexavalent chromium, PBB and PBDE at concentrations <0.1% by weight, cadmium at concentrations <0.01% by weight, Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP) and Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) at concentration <0,1% by weight in all homogenous materials except where exempt from Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS II) and its amendments.
